Oakley Sunglasses are an extremely popular brand name in the designer sunglasses world and like any designer brand, coming across coupons is a difficult task. The designer frames and lenses are notorious for being both cutting edge in terms of style, design, and lens quality. Many people have come to associate Oakley with high priced sunglasses, which in many cases is very true. Because of the high prices, knock-offs are very common to find in a similar way to finding knock off purses. Most can not afford to buy sunglasses online or in the store at over $400 a pair, but maybe through Oakley coupons and a discount they can be a bit more affordable. Here is the list of Oakley’s current most expensive sunglasses.
5.) Polarized Half X – $400
It’s really no surprise Oakley Sunglasses decided to make a higher end version of their popular Flak Jacket and Fast Jacket models. The Half X carries very similar features as the Oakley Fast Jacket with an open bottom frame as to not block the field of vision. The no frame rim is extremely popular with runners and cyclists and Oakley simply expanded on that popularity by creating a titanium alloyed version that is both lightweight and extremely strong. Further, the lenses use Oakley’s Hydrophobic coating which protects against smudges, sweat, and skin oils. Lastly, the polarized lenses allow for great UV protection. The best place to find deals and coupons on the Fast Jacket would be at retail running and cycling stores. Places such as Road Runner Sports or Performance Bicycle may carry sunglasses and using a coupon through these retail outlets could give you some discount Oakleys.
4.) Polarized X Squared – $400 to $450…Could easily go over this if you need prescription sunglasses or go even further with prescription polarized glasses.
Oakley claims the X metal used in the X line of designer sunglasses “is the only 3-D sculpted, hypoallergenic, all metal frame…” (from Oakley.com). The designer frames are extremely cool with great features such as flex couplers to help the frames sit comfortably and wrap around your head. The X Squared is also made with the same Hydrophobic technology in addition to utilizing Oakley’s Oleophobic technology to allow water to slide off the lenses. Oakley also has a 24k limited edition Polarised X Squared sunglasses, which have a great gold colored metal frame ($450). Sunglass Hut may carry these glasses as well. So further look into finding Sunglass Hut coupons to try and save money or the X Squared models. Both the X Squared and Half X are extremely popular, so it should be possible to find coupons for other retail outlets.
3.) Polarized Juliet 24k Limited Edition – $450
While the baseline Oakley Juliet Sunglasses come in at a “cheap” $370-$400, the 24k limited edition are nothing more than a similar gold style to that of the X Squared. While very shiny and gold looking, the 24k Juliet’s provide the same technology as the baseline sister sunglasses. The Oakley Juliet sunglasses are made with flex couplers to provide an excellent fit and feel that gives a more natural feel. Although not carrying the X metal brand name, the Juliet does utilize the same X metal technology as seen in the Half X and X Squared. Again, the 24k Oakley Juliet is available as polarized prescription sunglasses. Like most of the Special Edition lines, these will be difficult to find and it will be even more difficult to find coupons for these designer sunglasses. Instead of using coupons, you could try your optometrist for a discount. Or, if you would like to save a bit of money you and still donate to a good cause, the Oakley Juliet Infinity Hero retails for $370. With each sale a donation of $20 will be made to the Infinite Hero Foundation which helps support members of the military. Oakley’s Military presence and the various Oakley Military sunglasses are also a great
2.) Polarized Ducati Pit Boss – $595-$655…Easily pushing the $700-$800 range with a set of Oakley prescription sunglasses.
The Oakley Pit Boss is apart of Oakley’s Elite collection and utilize most of Oakley’s technology. Further, the Pit Boss took 4 years to develop and was one one of the original visions of Oakley’s founder (from Oakley.com). The designer frames are very progressive in their styling but without sacraficing usability and comfort. If the basic designer frames aren’t good enough for you, there is also the Ducati Polarized Pit Boss Special Edition carrying the Ducati red around the frames. The Ducati Pit Boss are slightly more expensive at $655 but again, can also be configured for polarized prescription sunglasses. The basic Pit Boss line is also rather common and very popular so again, check sunglass hut coupons or other wholesale sunglasses coupons to save. The Ducati line may be more difficult to find and save money on. If you are really into Ducati Motorcycles, you should check out the complete Oakley Ducati Collection.
1.) C Six – $1500 or $4000
Again part of the Oakley Elite Collection, the C Six is Oakley’s top of the line designer sunglasses carrying inspiration from auto racing as well as animals in nature. From Oakley’s Senior Designer Peter Yee, “We looked at animals like the armadillo and studied how parts move and slide. It’s the same idea with armored suits – you have flexibility and function that remains protective.” (From Oakley.com) The idea of nature as inspiration for fashion is nothing new, but Oakley has taken it to a whole other level with the C-Six Sunglasses. The C Six is based using carbon fiber as its core material. As many people know, carbon fiber is extremely lightweight but can be structured with loads of strength. Using 5-axis CNC machines, the designer frames require more than 24 hours of continuous tooling. The C Six comes in two different designer frame options. The first being the “cheaper” option at $1500. The $1500 option Oakley C Six has an aluminum frame with a carbon fiber composite built in. The aluminum portion of the frame is anodized, then integrated with the carbon fiber and a flexible titanium spine. This creates a very strong, very light designer glasses frame. The $4000 option is glasses frame is all carbon fiber. This creates an even lighter frame with the great look of carbon fiber. Both options come with Oakley Polarized lenses. Good luck finding any sort of coupon or coupon code within the Oakley Elite Sunglasses Collection. Oakley Coupons will be nearly impossible to come by for these top of the line glasses.
